Tracey Emin: A Second Life at Tate Modern. Lot of subject matter and the dripping bloody reds made for a powerful and affecting exhibition. Being a big wuss (okay, man) I found comfort in her blankets.

The Schizophonics were absolutely sensational last night - Just incredible! Spent the whole gig grinning! Took a few pics but due to Pat’s amazing stage (& offstage) performance, most were just a blur. Highlight was the ‘mashup’ of Little Richards’ ‘Bama Lama,Bama Loo & MC5’s ‘Rocket Reducer No 62 ’

Really special gig by Kamasi Washington this afternoon: Jazz Legends Reimagined. Didn’t simply take tracks by Miles Davis and John Coltrane but fused them. Ole/All Blues, Airegin/Giant Steps, Footprints/Africa etc played simultaneously. He and band sensational. Best seen him in years. 🔥
