The famous guitar riff for Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child o' Mine" originated from a "circus melody" warm-up played by guitarist Slash during a 1986 jam session. While Slash played the riff in a joking manner, bandmate Izzy Stradlin recognized its potential, and the band built the song around it.

Sky News and the BBC repeatedly mention the "migrant crisis" in doing so they are normalising and legitimising far right talking points. There is no "migrant crisis", there is only migrant hysteria, which the British media is feeding into instead of countering.

Lemmy, Leigh Bowery and ‘the two Georges’: 80s stars in the Limelight – in pictures
It was the place to be through the 1980s, a nightclub where Johnny Rotten and Kim Wilde rubbed shoulders with the Beastie Boys and, er, Mel Smith. David Koppel’s new book captures it all

There is little or no evidence of any significant rise in support for Tommy Robinson during the last 10-15 years. The 4% strongly supportive within the 1/10 who approve are also steady. 4% is a large target niche (2 million people) from whom to raise money and to bring 50-100k out marching

NOTHING will prepare you for this 45-second story arc. From "I'm just doing this because I love the flag, it's totally grassroots, and I'm not part of anything political"... to who actually gave him the flags the night before. Anyone who believes it is an innocent movement needs to see this.

What Spain's leader says here is unarguable fact, simple cold truth. It drew the predicable and fact free hysterical rant from Israel and the race card. So lame and so hypocritical from a government pursuing ethnic cleansing and genocide. Anti Semitic slander.

If you have a secret or hidden phone, the government's Emergency Alerts could reveal your device, even if it's on silent or do not disturb. The government is testing emergency alerts on Sunday 7 September. If you're worried this could reveal a phone, you can follow this guide to turn off the alerts
