Couldn’t accept defeat. Disassembled and reassembled these .🍠l files a dozen times, figured out how to not overwrite my caches when handling same goos but different goarch situations, and now have a working CI setup. I also no longer fear my tools or mortals or gods, so that’s kinda nice. 😊

So, because I need CGO for DuckDb, otel-desktop-viewer really doesn’t like to cross-compile. To get around this, I introduced a big fuck-off pile of CI issues. At some point the pile gained sentience, and has been snarling at anyone who gets near for months now. Today, I’m fixing my CI pile.

If you can substitute "hungry ghost trapped in a jar" for "AI" in a sentence it's probably a valid use case for LLMs. Take "I have a bunch of hungry ghosts in jars, they mainly write SQL queries for me". Sure. Reasonable use case. "My girlfriend is a hungry ghost I trapped in a jar"? No. Deranged.
