I'm glad that Gellar came out and said this because I may not be Chloe Zhao's biggest fan, but the way large swaths of the fandom - professional journalists even!! - just dragged Zhao as the problem with zero proof or reporting really chafed me. Like... this was always the more likely reason!!!!
