it's basically the number one rule to any medium ; you can't just tunnel-vision and pigeon hold yourself into a corner. that niche may feel comfortable but it's stifling and prevents you from seeing "the bigger picture" in any sort of artistic/cultural context

Just finished watching The Backrooms with Dusk Wife. Such a well-made and resonant movie. It slips a little bit here and there, but for most of the runtime I was enthralled.
