I miss 'stunting' when a station was changing formats. I posted a couple of one hour recordings from a tiny AM station that helped save my musical life. It started started in 1980 as KDJQ-AM and was at the far end of the AM band at 1510 khz. This ran for a week. It's etched into my brain.

I found a one hour 1989 recording of the tiny little rebellious AM station in my hometown that, along with imported John Peel radio dubs, helped shape my musical tastes shortly after high school. The program director would regularly fly to Europe and the UK to assure he was the first in town.
