For those of you who've left the other place for good I'd best pop in here and let you know the news. On Friday I was admitted to hospital with abdominal pain and bowel issues. Poking, prodding and scans have shown a tumour on the bowel that has spread to the liver and bones 1/2

Had the absolute pleasure of attending Rosenallis AFC 50th Anniversary celebration yesterday. John Aldridge was the guest of honour and he was as sound as you’d expect.

I was really struck by the levels of poverty in Blackpool when I visited last week - parts of it reminded me of Downtown Eastside Vancouver, the poorest district in Canada. Lovely people but terrible poverty. Successive governments have totally failed areas like these.
