Yesterday on Reddit I encountered a bunch of people who believed the presence of writing techniques in a Reddit post meant they were reading 'AI slop'. In this case it was the presence of clichés. Nobody could correctly identify what they were talking about as a cliché, though.

Tiffany is 35 years old and suffering from a treatable disability. There’s no cure, but there are things to improve quality of life. Ontario simply won’t pay for them. What will they pay for? MAiD. Assisted death. Disabled Canadians offered death over treatment and care.

This Toronto woman needs treatment for a debilitating condition but Ontario won’t fund it. Now she’s looking at the end
Diagnosis with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome was only the beginning of the search for answers in Canada and the U.S.

Great show: only complaint is the two people beside us who got last-minute tickets and talked through the entire performance. Why even go to the theatre if you're going to do this?

I get these comments every time I post about this and I really want people to realize how unhelpful they are! First of all, if you have the stats, let's see them. Second of all, they could issue placards as temporary permits and licence plates for people with permanent disabilities. Hope that helps!

I saw Backrooms and I thought it was just okay. I think there's a lot about it that was great, but I also thought the story was brutal. It's relying very heavily on romanticizing analogue technology to a generation that doesn't remember it.

Adding to this that some people don't seem to understand the concept of prestige TV. Of course if you compare a regular show to a show of cinematic quality with a much higher budget it's going to fall short. I really hate the way that some people watch TV

I joined this apartment living subreddit the other day. The entire sub is just "upstairs neighbours vs downstairs neighbours." Downstairs neighbours are the bad guys and upstairs neighbours are the good guys. It's literally people being tribal about the location of their home.

I like being in subreddits for TV shows I watch but it's hard to watch people say a show is bad and then follow that up with a criticism of the genre not the show. "This mystery box show has too much mystery" is a hell of a criticism.

I don't think Andrew Callaghan is a very journalist actually. I think sometimes he interviews people who have media training and doesn't challenge them on any of the garbage talking points they're regurgitating. SA accusations aside: he stinks.

Something so frustrating about the reporting on hantavirus is that in an effort to drive home the "this isn't another Covid" messaging, many news outlets are disseminating accurate info about SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 and how it spreads for the first time in *years*
