With the milder temperature today, it would be a perfect day for the City of Winnipeg to clear downtown sidewalks to the paved surface, as per their own policy (that they never follow). I bet the sidewalk snow plows would make quick work of this soft snow.

In case anyone still needs to hear this, do not assist someone with a disability without asking first.

Also they don’t seem to be doing any snow removal on the Cool Street so traversing the north-south crosswalks on Graham is not fun.

It doesn’t matter how well the sidewalks are cleared if this is what the curb cuts look like after they clear the roads down to the pavement for benefit of people in their 3000 pound motorized and heated boxes on wheels.

You will not see a more succinct or accurate summation of the approach to infrastructure under this mayor and council
