The big things the Harmony cube currently up on MODO does right 1. The best standalone cards are Swords and Utopia Sprawl, not some individually broken "synergy card" like Esikas Chariot 2. Even the normal decks are synergy engine decks, but every deck is still 20-50% getting it done in combat.

Undefeated at first FNM post ban with UR Delver. Shamelessly stole INF's 5-0 list and ran with it. The deck still definitely isn't fully in my wheelhouse, but it's really strong cc: @fireshoes.bsky.social

Another undefeated FNM, this time with Historic Tempo. Stole the list from INF, but added two Thoughtseize over Ponder #4 and Fatal Push #3. It's a fun little spin on tempo, though it does sometimes struggle to hit lands drops (probably why you want 4x Ponder, lol) cc: @fireshoes.bsky.social

We played ten matches of premodern, each swapping decks, and never overlapped archetypes. 20 unique decks and we could've hit another 20 easy Premodern is so cool

I think the big gap with Oops is how surface level it is similar to Belcher, so it gets a surface level pass, but in practice its not remotely the same experience. It's much closer to asking "What if every Epic Storm combo line was a 4 mana instant kill"

What stings the most about today’s B&R is the dissonance between March’s “legacy looks balanced but we know people aren’t happy so we’re changing things” to today’s “legacy looks balanced so no changes.” I had hopes we would continue to improve the format, now we’re stuck with this until 2026.
