I would point an interested reader and careful thinker to two things. One, the university recently built another top-down school without student demand or sustainable funding. It isn’t doing so well. Two, I would point out that sports dynasties are built over generations.

I mean that, seriously. Something like Bama Rush improves university brand recognition, generates tens of millions of dollars in mostly positive attention, and the sororities have better long term prospects than a college football team at an ACC basketball dynasty school.
