This is so fuckin' funny. The entire ramp up to 5.5e saw WotC desperate to not call it exactly this or 6e. One D&D, D&D 2024, whatever else they though of, they did NOT want this. But this was unavoidable, because 5.5e is such a nothing burger change to the formula. It's just 5e but different.
