I think The Chair Company is my favorite thing I've watched in the past 5 years.

I made a simple toony horizon environment texture to figure out how to draw cel-shaded chrome. These refs might be useful to you guys too so here you go.

Funny little modular crosshatching experiments using a base texture and gradient map that is probably a lot more needlessly complicated than just actually crosshatching.

My favorite thing about creating and owning characters is that I can just be needlessly cruel to them for no reason and nobody's allowed to get mad at me.

Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."
