A Japanese developer has created a Chrome extension called Cat Gatekeeper that superimposes a big Ginger/Orange cat on your screen if you send too much time on social media. I have a real one that does that, and he doesn't limit it to social media. Buzz has interrupted client calls before now.

Acorn Electron Prince of Arabia WIP. Testing a few more movements. Now using an extra 16K RAM bank (auto-detected) for part of the large amount of sprite+mask data. Foreground tiles are working as well. No collision detection or map awareness yet

Just for fun, I made a SAM Coupé disk for Go-Go Bunnygun. It’s a neat self-contained 48K Spectrum game so all it really needs is a few bytes of machine code to shuffle SAM memory into a suitable configuration (screen at $4000, game at $8000).

I picked up a couple of Sharp ZQ-770 organisers this week. Both had succumbed to very severe battery leaks (hence the discoloured paintwork) but I was able to get both powering up after a thorough clean. Both have the usual LCD failure issue, this one being the worst.
