'Search for the Lost Orb' is a text-based adventure game for the BBC Micro that I found whilst going through my disk collection. So far I have been unable to find out who actually wrote it. I asked the people on stardot, but had no luck. I think it could be Andy Bray (RIP) who I knew well BITD.

This is Amnesia, a game I developed for the BBC Micro that was never published/released officially. As you can see it's a work in progress tech demo with programmer graphics ( my own ). I think I worked on this for about 5 or 6 weeks and decided to devote my time to other projects.

An early build of the arcade Mario Bros. recently surfaced and man you can tell from playing this was before the game was refined to how we expect it to control. You are forced to tap the direction to move and stopping will result in Mario or Luigi to continue moving until you tap the other way.

According to Wildran, Pulstar 2 and Blazing Star were two different projects. As early as 1995 (the year Pulstar was released), Pulstar 2 had already been (more or less) announced in the NeoGeo CD version of Pulstar and graphics had been created, but the Pulstar 2 project was rejected by SNK 1/3

40 years ago, Ocean was advertising Street Hawk, the hugely delayed game-of-the-failed-TV-series. It had already been marketed for well over a year at this point, but it finally arrived on Speccy and Amstrad. It was pretty damn bad, but at least we were spared the C64 version.

I have just received a very interesting find from @bone6502.bsky.social who worked at ZED TWO. It's a disk containing the source code for PS2 Aqua Aqua and data for Wetrix+ ( Dreamcast ). It's great to see this being preserved, especially as it came of a ZIP 100 disk which don't survive very well!
