Small update on the Megadrive *rally game* ? I added sprites and did some optimization so CPU is still at 70% usage with a stable 60 fps. I'm a bit disappointed by the sprite width limit per-line. I wanted a lot more dense vegetation but it's not possible with sprites. I'll try other methods.

Btw, this has to be same artist. Anyone knows who they are?

The artist for the AX-2/Nostromo cover is Masashi Iwasaki. Haven't found confirmation for the M36 Planet cover yet. Could be the same artist.

Bought a bunch of Japanese broadcast tapes & found some Sailor Moon premiers with commercials. The tape spans 2 weekends worth of broadcasts of Super S from 1995. Signal strength is weak, but It'll be on the internet archive soon. It's so cool this even plays. We're so close to losing this stuff.

Every time I think I've got the X68000 pegged I find some new weird thing. You can control Sharp monitors from the keyboard if you have the TV control cable. I knew that.

I was just shown a video of a demo of a PC-FX port of DOOM. It's running on an emulator, but it's his custom version of Mednafen that has been deliberately built to try to approximate the real system speed. I'm interested to see it run on real hardware. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYmp...
