The "ZAN" anime by Yoshitaka Amano is finally underway. First announced in 2010 as a feature film, it's now a series. Produced by Yoshitaka Amano Inc, and based on the artist's "Deva Zan" illustrations. The pilot film will debut at Anime Expo.

I got Haibane Renmei on VHS & when I loaded it up it was only Episode ONE. I cannot believe they were doing this in 2002. FLCL I get since there's 6 episodes, but it's so funny they even tried this that late. From what I can tell, they never even bothered doing the full series this way.
