It's a small thing, but I'm doing what I can to fight back.

My dilemma next week once I'm done doing work for Crimson Desert is going to be: Do I power through and try and finish the game? I'm 110 hours in, 3 chapters away from the end. It feels like it'd be such a waste to not finish it. But I've also got Alex in SF6 to learn, Slay the Spire 2, Marathon..

So proud of my team's work on Crimson Desert. This game has been a nightmare to cover. They keep changing stuff literally every other hour, and it's caused my team to have to go back and fully re-edit completely finished videos. Very grateful for the work these folks had to put up with lol.

I think if there’s one thing Crimson Desert proves, it’s that there needs to be more pro wrestling moves in medieval fantasy games

I've been working on guides for Crimson Desert, and man, the highs and lows of this game are something else. It is hands down one of the most gorgeous open worlds ive ever played around in. There's just an unbelievable amount to explore and discover.

Just started a run with the Regent, I'm going to say right now that if i somehow fuck this up, I'm uninstalling this game.

Finished season 2 of live action One Piece. This show is great, man. I'm so glad it exists to give a general audience that might not want to sit down for literally a thousand episodes a small taste of the insanity, world building, humor, and most of all, the heart that One Piece has to offer.

Speaking generally: Call me crazy, but games that don't have stealth mechanics don't need stealth sections. They're always the worst parts of every game they're in. Make that shit a cutscene lol. Or idk, at least make it funny. Like infiltrating the Yiga Clan in Breath of the Wild lol.

I think if your game is designed to be replayed with multiple playthrus in mind, you gotta have a toggle that skips the cinematically driven bits. The forced slow walks, the scripted hide and seek encounters, vehicle interstitials. Let subsequent playthrus be just about gameplay

Toph is very cool. Probably not my kind of character, but her combo routes are sick and her moveset fits her character incredibly well. Avatar Legends continues to impress.

Definitely willing to give it some more time, but first impressions of Sons of Sparta are that its kind of mid. Combat feels very simple and very *not God of War*, level design is very much standard metroidvania fare without anything in the platforming moveset to really elevate it.

All I'm saying is where the heck is the 2D Devil May Cry called Devil May Cry Sons of Sparda.

I love Mewgenics, but MAN, the way things just totally flip on you in one single turn and totally ruin an otherwise stellar run because of one slight oversight, one enemy type your team wasn't prepared for, one crazy sequence of unfortunate events...
