While reporting this, we came across this ProPublica story from 2019 about a Border Patrol Facebook group. Hardly any differences between this and other cop pages we've reported on. It's all the same dehumanization and racism, just different targets (w/ Chicago cops—usually it's Black people).

During circle time today, my daughter's class processed seeing a man get detained by ICE outside of their school. Last week ICE pulled guns outside of my 7 y.o school. Today, it was outside of my 10 y.o's school. Repubs want us to fear adults in drag around kids, I'm afraid of ICE agents in masks.

Border Patrol slammed the burbs this morning while Bovino was in court. Now they're patrolling the city. Multiple people detained in Humboldt Park. A Blackhawk has been circling the north side. Just watched a FB live from Berwyn end as an agent backed into someone behind him, then detained them.

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.
