Meta sent emails to 6 people informing them that ICE had served the company with a subpoena demanding extensive personal information about the users. The accounts, most notably StopIce.net, are part of a broader crowd-sourcing movement that works to publicly identify masked ICE agents.

Today, one federal judge just said that the government was targeting protesters for speech to scare people into silence. (This was all obvious already). He then proceeded to say, I'm deferring any binding ORDERS on the government, and the eventual orders I issue will be strictly limited. MEANWHILE:

There's lots of headline-bait in this opinion. But the headlines are missing the forest for the trees. After 150 pages detailing a constitutional travesty, the judge concludes with how limited his options for addressing it are—& laments that the admin won't just voluntarily comply with his decision

BREAKING: A federal judge (Reagan appointee) just held that DOJ, DOS, & DHS has engaged in a coordinated assault on pro-Palestine speech. He found the plan was to harshly punish some of those speaking out to deter others. He also conceded that the gov't won't respect this ruling.

There is no such thing as being anti-ICE without being a police abolitionist (or at a minimum, supporting unequivocal shrinkage of the PIC or what people often call "nonreformist reforms").

This is revealing not only because they try jump a guy for saying "Fuck Trump," but also because most of them were ignoring him—but the second one of them saw an opening and ran after him, they all tried to dogpile. One cop initiating the process of criminalization marks someone as criminal, period.

The US gov't murder spree against people on boats in international waters is beyond horrific. It's horrific no matter who is on those boats and what they're doing. AND, you would have to be asleep or willfully ignorant if you think this tactic will remain confined to supposed "drug traffickers."

Useless. For ~1 week, ICE relied on judges dismissing cases before they kidnapped people (to put them into expedited removal where ICE=judge/jury/executioner, instead of giving them a day in court). Now they just kidnap people w/o dismissal & use the brutality of ICE jails+transfers to do the rest.
