Generosity is core to who we are as Canadians. We have a responsibility to carry it forward through service to others. This morning’s National Prayer Breakfast was a reminder of the commitment we each make as elected officials to lead with compassion, humility, and a sense of duty to one another.

Just to be clear, the fossil fuel crisis isn't about city people's commutes. We have solutions for that, go use them! The crisis is how to be moving all the *things* people everywhere depend on, from their source, to their destination. Shipments, deliveries. Harvest. Processing.

Rally TODAY at Parliament, 1pm. This Government's health and safety law changes are being heard in select committee today. The new law would make smaller organisations with less than 20 staff (which employ 29% of working New Zealanders) responsible for a limited number of risks. #nzpol

The clean car discount was making New Zealand’s vehicle fleet cleaner, cheaper to run, and helping us to be more resilient in an unstable world. Its cancellation was a massive own goal by the Luxon Government and is now seriously costing New Zealand.

To counter future information threats, the inquiry recommends a measured and transparent approach to strategic comms. To essentially strengthen information integrity, & bolster public confidence, report notes the govt should be open about the science, & evidence that underpin its decisions.

As someone who was in that last Auckland lockdown, I firmly believe the Government did the best it could throughout the main acute phase of the pandemic at every point. Hindsight is 20:20 but I'm glad Simeon Brown wasn't making any decisions during that period.
