Welp that was a mistake

The ability to detach quotes is one of my favorite features on here.

One of the problems that I constantly see? A lot of men wanna date a "baddie" or whatever, but then if she gives him a chance and they get with her, they wanna change her. They wanna hold her down. Like "trophy partner" behavior. That is so wrong to me. Let that woman live or leave her alone.

Did weights and measurements with my coach today. I'm at the heaviest weight I've ever been in my life (~213 lbs), but the lowest body fat since at least my early 30s. 😊

As a single 38 year-old man, the amount of times I get asked "why/how are you single?" is annoying, especially when people view it as some kind of red flag, like there's something seriously wrong with me or whatever. So I'm not going to settle just for the sake of companionship. Why is that bad?

Needing CONSTANT reassurance is insecure or a trauma response. That's not healthy. Regular affirmations are totally fine. But once you start needing it constantly, then there's something that you need to work out there that constant reassurance isn't going to help. It's just going to cover it up.

We can be on the same side of a larger issue and still not “agree.” We can both believe that female sports journalists should not be treated poorly in male locker rooms. But if you believe it’s because women shouldn’t be in those rooms in the first place, we don’t agree.

You’re not “agreeing” with them though. They happen to be on the same side of an issue that I assure you, at some point you will divert on sharply when you get down to the mechanics of it.

Two things that I constantly see from couples in public will forever trigger me. 1) When a man doesn't walk on the outside of the sidewalk. 2) When a man doesn't open the door for a woman and/or he just walks in first.

If cheat on someone, you didn't make a mistake. You made a choice. And you deserve to live with the repercussions of that choice. I can't stand folks that try to justify their bad decisions and act like they should be forgiven just because they feel bad about it later.
