Wow — this is really, really sad. Some great friends, incredible meteorologists, and highly capable scientists have come from the program in Lincoln. If this happens, it’s truly a loss.

I’m not the biggest fan of AI coding tools. They tend to be confidently wrong for a lot of the use cases I want. To be fair, however, I’ll share one positive: it’s done a decent job of writing CI YAML for me that I really don’t want to write myself.
