I talked to a woman who quit an AUSA job recently. She was asked by main DOJ to dismiss a Medicare fraud prosecution because the defendant was the daughter of a girlfriend of a MAGA figure.

DHS has a whole citizen detainment system set up in Minnesota. They snatch citizens off the street (often with proof they are citizens), detain them for a few hours, steal their phones, then release them into the cold. It ain’t about deporting citizens; it’s about terrorizing a whole population.

Speaking of children not being able to walk to school, ICE agents are snatching kids off the streets of Minneapolis (and St. Paul!) and parents are having to form patrols to guard against kids getting abducted at pick-up and drop-off.

Given the headlines about Alex Pretti, I think it’s important to remind people that tens of thousands (if not more) ICE observers are in the Twin Cities and the vast majority are making it home every night. The violence is meant to intimidate, but they can’t go after a whole community.

At this point the only way for FIFA (and Infantino) to redeem itself (himself) is to hold an emergency meeting that disqualifies the U.S. from co-hosting this year's World Cup and moves all the matches to Canada and Mexico. Doing so might even win Infantino a Nobel Peace Prize!
