Also, the reason this was unbanned was because another man of color from France (Adam Siao Him Fa), specifically performed it as a form of rebellion and a tribute to Bonaly, knowing that he would be penalized for doing so.

For a faction that says The Groups are the problem, they sure do love creating groups. More money poured into yet another think tank to tell activists they're messing things up for the Democratic Party. Good luck with this strategy.

Folks who don't care about the process and only care about the product are likely to be pro-AI. The old adage, "it's about the journey, not the destination" rolls around in my head as I get told how AI will save me time on XYZ task. Doesn't have to be good if it's done, right? (Wrong.) 🧵

Last election I worked at, I held up an hours-long queue of elderly people (the people doing the staffing for the "in the old folks' home" had not considered that old people really love voting) for twenty minutes so that one old person could vote without their spouse seeing their ballot.

Across our activation research, we've found it's not how much you dislike MAGA but rather whether you see their actions as rupture that indicate if you're willing to step up and change your own actions in response. Some positive movement:

I’ve seen a lot of questions on these lines, and the quick answer is that once the federal government purchases the property (including the land the warehouse sits on), local governments cannot regulate them or tax them. They are now federal properties and so the Supremacy Clause applies.

Just had a Super Bowl halftime where the singer: 1) boasts about the poor place he’s from; 2) boosts the value of agriculture; 3) celebrates small town life; 4) highlights the joy of inter-generational celebrations; and 5) promotes marriage. And tomorrow, the MAGA movement will attack it.
