I still love the theory a Year 6 child proposed to me that David Attenborough is actually God and he got fed up with people not noticing the amazing things he'd created, so he made documentaries to show off.

Wind & solar are currently producing 65% of Britain's electricity. Meanwhile, renewables now offer 30,000 more UK jobs than oil and gas. Meanwhile, we're in a climate emergency. Meanwhile, we're in a fossil fuel supply crisis. Meanwhile, the Tories and Reform want to scrap Net Zero.

Presuming you to be the expert on all things Norfolk: my late Mum grew up in W Norfolk between the wars, Mum always spoke of 'Old Year's Night' rather than NYE. Is this a Norfolk dialect/cultural thing (commemorate the old and not rush to the new) or just her family oddness?
