On my way to collecting my son from school, some secondary school kids sarcastically yelled at me "hey nice shirt". It has a yellow duck on it. At school pick-up, my son came running over yelling "DUCK!" Something we've done as a sort of in-joke since he was a toddler. It's my favourite shirt.

Kane Parsons and A24 present "The Mormon Mafia"

I definitely enjoyed Backrooms way more than I expected. Kane Parsons masterfully handles setting dense layers of mystery and unraveling juuuuust enough to bring the film to an unsettling conclusion and still leave us asking questions.

Wow, Mina The Hollower is SUPER tough and unforgiving. Souls-likes are not my things, so I'm grateful for the inclusion of modifiers to adjust the balls-hard difficulty, otherwise I'd have bailed way sooner.

Any time a creative turns to this tech, they are saying "I do not respect the people who do this thing. I do not value their creative contribution to my vision. I think they are so worthless, they can be replaced by the machine that ate their work." It's not surprising this is seen as hostile.
