I'm trying out anisota.net for the first time. Great experience! - stamina-based social media engagement is the right model for me - there was plenty to try and experience without paying - lots of customizability in settings, but you don't have to dig to learn. "l" to like a post was intuitive.

This is actually so unique. It kinda turns your feed into a game and removes monotonous scrolling, forcing you to actually consciously take in every post coming into your feed :O It reminds me of makeshiftonline a bit (from like 2003)

This is the kind of s-tier content you discover on the anisota.net community feed.

fun fact: you can configure @anisota.net so that it doesn’t default to showing you any feeds or content and instead just gives you access to the post composer only… great for times when you want to focus on writing/publishing and not on consuming

i genuinely love anisota for all of these reasons! no scrolling encourages you to read the content you're looking at, and you can expand the cards to hide the notification counter supporting a fellow queer is icing on the cake 🥰

There are many techniques ppl can adopt to be more mindful of what they're paying attention to. Unsurprisingly, today's platforms make it really hard to use those techniques! Check out @anisota.net, the polar opposite of addictive doomscrolling, as an example of the social media we could all have.

Really digging this card-based Bluesky client, @anisota.net. It's so unique and minimal. Weird to get used to but now I can't stop using it. Worth checking out for sure!

and @dame.is made Leaflet posts readable in @anisota.net which is super cool speaking of, big shout out to Anisota as emblematic of the atproto spirit — great example of taking the bsky shortform experience in radically different creative directions, mixing the new + the familiar!
