apropos of nothing at all, @anisota.net already supports bluesky’s unreleased pronouns field — you can edit your profile to include pronouns and see other users’ pronouns who have already done this too here are mine, hoping bluesky finally releases this in their client

the post composer in @anisota.net now has full support for threadgates, languages, and content labels — you'll see small icons appear in the byline depending on what your settings are you can adjust defaults in settings and override them on a per post basis

I can confirm that I'm able to see/access Łink's profile & posts in @anisota.net when connected to the Blacksky AppView! This kind of thing isn't possible w/ traditional social media. For those out of the loop, Łink was perma banned from Bluesky several months ago, but he's still in the ATmosphere.

i think @anisota.net is one of the few social media clients in existence that has a dedicated post composer page — you can even set the post composer to be your default “home page” in anisota whenever you open the app… so you can post and just not see content anisota.net/post

even though Bluesky is open-source and more customizable, UX-wise, it inherited some hostile and addictive patterns of Twitter. slot-machine pull-to-refresh mechanic, infinite scroll, 300 characters... @leaflet.pub and @anisota.net are less likely to have these issues imho
