i almost agree with you! except that, since i saw a thing about how the toppings that bring moisture make leftovers less good when put under the cheese, i now evaluate topping moisture to decide what goes under or over the cheese.

I do dough cheese sauce toppings bc I use the king Arthur pan pizza recipe. One time I spaced out and did the sauce before the cheese and it sank down and left weird ass canyons in my pizza and I was MAD AS HELL

I’m watching the mini-series The Pursuit of Love (dvd from library, based on a Nancy Mitford novel) and Andrew Scott just delivered the most scathing insult I’ve ever heard. He called someone a STOPGAP! I need to incorporate this into my lexicon.
