I’m of the firm belief that police and militia members have been quietly running right wing death squads in the US for years. The fate of the most notable Ferguson protestors is the most blatant example of it. ICE in 2025-26 is simply the same people operating in public.

When law enforcement feels embarrassed or disrespected they get trigger happy. This is exacerbated with ICE partly because it isn’t even clear where they fit in policing and how they are trained.
