I should clarify. The relevant bit of the definition covers *causing* someone to be trans (or not trans). It's revolting gaslighting from Labour - literally no one is being 'transed'. But affirming care that *supports* your transness does not *cause* it - and would not be a conversion practice.

In the UK, if you are a cis man, they will call you 'Labour's first female prime minister' but if you are a trans woman you are banned from standing on all women's shortlists.
