Heritage Foundation has released an absolutely insane policy proposal to label all trans people as domestic terrorists. It uses completely made up instances of terrorism and made up statistics but facts don't matter to them. They want us all eradicated.

They're not targeting Democrats. They're targeting Black people (especially women and non-men), immigrants, trans people, Muslim and Arab people, and other marginalized groups. Many of those people happen to vote for or be Democrats. But by and large they're not targeting cis white men.

I'm struck by how most commentary frames the issue as violence within the unhoused community, as if to suggest lack of housing somehow begets violence. Not once stepping back to think: maybe someone is targeting the most vulnerable among us.
