Thank you for highlighting this. It's pretty much the same in Warminster. There's a skate park and tennis courts/football areas in the town park and I've never seen girls using them or anywhere near them.

Yes of course. In general, our public spaces and infrastructure is designed for what Caroline Criado Perez calls 'the default male'. This affects all sorts of things - transport, safety, housing, lighting, cycle lanes... But where you see it most dramatically is in provision for teenagers. 🧵
