Ukraine gave up the nuclear weapons in its territory as the Soviet Union went away. We in the US live in a safer world because of this. Now we risk many nations deciding wether or not to acquire nuclear weapons as a hedge against this kind of situation. We will regret our actions for a long time.

It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends. We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over. We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

This is exactly the sort of thing that is going to require people to go to jail for a very long time if we are to avoid this ever happening again. We're going to be told we need to move on. We've been told that every time since ~1865. Which is why the crises keep happening.
