I usually hike or take the dogs out for a run on New Year's Eve/New Year's Day but instead I'm sick at home and drafting. In the final stretch now on Manifestations' first draft. Definitely in the pit of "Is any of this good? Why did I write this" but... the pit is cozy at least.

In my current project, these two characters are eventually going to kiss and it will mean something more than all the smut and I will come undone. I tend to wait a long time to have characters kiss and it explores a different vulnerability than sex or kink scenes. (1/2)

are there accounts or feeds for project (zine, anthology, etc.) announcements that center on original characters? I want to be apart of more collective projects in the new year, health permitting! especially of the queer, erotic, gothic variety and am always just missing submission deadlines.

I try to balance between sensation descriptions, which may use euphemism or prose, and pretty filthy/crude terms. For a lot of what I write though, the anatomy is secondary to the power exchange, anticipation/fear or weird magic stuff happening, which is where the actual fun is for me 😏
