This always bears repeating. Getting a GRC is supposed to be the final confirmation, not the first step. Saying you shouldn't live as your acquired gender until you already have a GRC is a bit like saying you shouldn't live in the UK until you're already a British citizen.

My āfavoriteā is deniers saying āyour medicine is just a crutchā as though thatās not exactly the reason people should have it. Crutches work! And theyāre instant. A person can walk with a crutch, take it a way and they instantly canāt again. Thatās almost exactly how adhd medicine isāon or off.

If Labour actually wanted to wipe the floor with reform, theyād pour money in services- all of them- NHS, transport, schools, social care, pensions- and theyād absolutely clean house. But a lot of people they think are āundeservingā would get that money, and so⦠they arenāt.
