NME's albums of 1995. No argument from me about the winner. I still think Maxinquaye is a masterpiece. But I feel like it's dropped off the radar, culturally, compared to The Bends, Different Class etc?

I find the current allegations against David Walliams a lot easier to believe than the dumb conspiracy theory that he doesn't write his own books.

Yes! I know it's fashionable to hate the photo covers (and many are awful) but The Visitation got me back into buying Targets. (Yes, I did very much judge books by their covers.)

"Even if you can't reach merry, you can still land at peaceful. And that's a nice place to be." A pleasure to bring you Lauren Laverne's Christmas message. Do give Save the Children a bob or two if you can spare it.

This is such a nailed-on premise for a feelgood Christmas comedy (egotistical Hollywood actor finds love and humility doing panto in Yorkshire), it's a mystery how they've managed to make it so shit. Still, at least they tried, which is more than you can say for the BBC and ITV this Christmas š«¤

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing. All from his movies.

Watching a film and briefly thought this was Jennifer Connelly, until I remembered that Jennifer Connelly is in her mid-50s. Anyway, she's called Poppy Drayton, and there's a great remake of The Substance to be had with her and Jennifer Connelly. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.

This Spotify listening age thing is an absolute nonsense. I got 76 because my son, 14, loves The Beatles. Surely Spotify, of all people, know that artists are entirely cross-generational now? (My knees, on the other hand, do feel 76.)
