I loved how the twins turned out this year.

Best of the year...so far...is probably my Space Wolves. Having a quite basic scheme for the armour made me more confident in trying out a lot more advanced tricks like the chipping, freehand pack markings and tartan on the character cloaks. Background by #jhbackdrops

My favourite this year is my Bloodbender for Warhammer Quest

Lots of great models in 2025, but I'll go for these two. I tried very hard with NMM on my Space Marines kill team this year, and this captain is probably best I could do. For the plague marines, I tried something totally different with this stange and colorful look. #WarhammerCommunity #Nerdling

Here’s my large gribbly lad. Very pleased with how he turned out and he’s also served me well in the tabletop.

This was a year when I just painted stuff because… no particular plan at all, I just went with things that I’d never tried that took my fancy. Quite please with how it turned out.

The best thing I did this year is by far not a single thing, but an army. These Death Guard were an absolutely insane labour and I'm glad to have smashed through my self-inflicted target, and if nothing else, I hope they go to show how even the simplest stuff scaled across an *army* will look great.

It took me months to finish 10 of them and I still have 20 more ... Assembled them pre-codex too so they are not even WYSIWYG. I tried to scrap more gladiatorial weapons for the next batch. Lelith is next tho 💜🖤🔪 #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #minipainting #drukhari
