So Grogu's eyes are huge and black (for cuteness reasons) but Yoda and Yaddle just have regular human-like eyes. So for science I wanted to see what Grogu would look like if I photoshopped Yoda's eyes onto him. I experimented with placement, so choose your favorite Viewer discretion is advised.

My initial calcs put the Tholian spinner at 95 feet long. That's about the length of the teardrop on the Enterprise. But it may be even smaller than that. When setting up the same shot that's in Tholian Web I had to put one spinner almost on the Enterprise hull. The other is a sane distance away.

This Model is a Starfleet Dreadnaught as depicted by Franz Joseph. It’s a 1:1000 scale conversion kit for the Polar Lights Enterprise model. It required two kits to account for the details. I’m glad it lasted this long, there’s a droop at the neck

So, I may have forgotten to do the unboxing video for the Pathfinder class model (I'm working on another big project), but I got it filmed this morning. It looks good. Still say it should've been an XL and been named Voyager-B.

feeling unhinged

The first image was the moment I realized that the planetary shipyard in the middle of an ocean was not ideal for larger & ring ships. 😂 This is why I'm working on the space dock. It also makes a little bit more sense in terms of my "brand" name. Progress on the space dock is slow but steady. :)
