As cool as it was that Discovery tried to invoke these concepts, it also kinda sucks that this is as far as they went. Why emulate the look if you're not going to go beyond the single ship? How does this art relate thematically/narratively? SW Rebels is a great example of how to do this right.

Finished my commission quotas for the day and had extra time, so I decided to start on the Type 6 :) LEGO's Type 15 is almost as big as my older size-accurate minifig-scale Type 6! For the new version, I've sized it up a bit to match. The new one can fit 2 figures side-by-side in the cockpit.

Seems LEGO Korea accidentally posted it early lol I guess the reports of the leaked model being preliminary were incorrect, the final set is identical to the leaks. I think it just needs a good detail pass tbh, gonna make that a priority once it releases.
