ALBA remembers George Watt, born #otd in NYC, 1913. He attended Brooklyn College and Cooper Union and joined the YCL in 1932. George arrived in Spain on Aug. 6, 1937. He served with ALB as party secretary and battalion commissar. He was WIA at Ebro but returned to the US on Dec. 20, 1938.

He won with joy and strong principles. Even when they used who he was as an attack, he smiled and stood for what he knew was right. This is the way.

I'm happy that Mamdani won. But I won't let that get in the way of my celebrating Cuomo losing.

The political reign of those who grew up in the red circle isn’t long for this world. Byron Brown: done in politics. Eric Adams: done in politics. Andrew Cuomo: done in politics. After tomorrow, there’s just the big one left. They want us to believe he’ll be in the White House forever. Nope.

My 18yo came back from college yesterday just to catch the last day of early voting. We stood in line for over an hour and when we finally got inside I told the poll worker it was his first time and the guy yelled out, "first time voter here!" And the whole place cheered 🥳
