This week the @ukri.org MRC will review the Structural Studies division at @mrclmb.ac.uk. I look forward to discussing our science with the panel. I left Spain 16 years ago and still remember how refreshing it felt that the quality of the science is what matters most in the UK. 😀

I was at the @royalsociety.org tonight for a @nobelprize.org dialogue about #AI with Hassabis & Nurse. An upcoming golden age for Science, or will benefits be limited for the go-getters? I will encourage my children to keep studying hard to better their chances of benefiting from it all.

I just came back from a lovely visit to the life science campus in Leiden, The Netherlands. >30,000 people working there, no traffic in sight, just cycle paths and a good train network nearby!

I hope @ukri.org will be able to find a scientist for this role.
