Getting stuck causes players to explore the world. Dying causes players to think about what they're doing. An "impossible" situation causes players to learn how the game works and eventually achieve the impossible. We need to be able to design *some* games around these fundamental ideas.

For the love of everything, please don’t buy your kids shit that lets them talk to LLM or generative AI in general.

It feels like Sektori is the game my Steam Deck was built for me to play for years, like Lumines for the PSP or Puzzle Quest for the DS was. It’s a spiritual successor to Geometry Wars that is simultaneously more challenging and more forgiving. Beating the first boss feels like an accomplishment.

This is one of my all-time favorite board games. It's great with a bunch of people, but it's fabulous for a 30-40 minute game on a Tuesday night with a duo too.

It is *extremely* easy for people to circumvent Roblox's alleged safety features. The parental controls are wholly inadequate, the restrictions on who can contact underage users are really easy to work around, the age verification they've implemented is wildly inaccurate and unreliable...
