For those of us who see Palestinians as human beings, this was Starmer's defining moment. It is not sustainable to behave in this way while leading the nominally progressive party in a two party system. Starmer's unpopularity is not one of life's great mysteries.

Well Keir Starmer may not have saved the country from being a failed state, and he may not have done the simple right thing in the face of a horrific genocide, and he may have no idea how AI works despite his probably corrupt enthusiasm for it, and he may have backed the pro-rape spycops bill, and

So Sir Keir, after two years of trying to appease reactionary right-wing forces, opening the door to violent racism, and ensuring youāll be remembered for being little more than a shabby liar, how do you feel it all went? Successful tactics or nah?

Itās the 7th anniversary of German police seizing 4,200 litres of beer in Ostritz, a town of only 2,300 people, which would sound like a mean-spirited thing to do, were it not for the fact that they were preventing a bunch of Nazis having any beer at a festival celebrating Hitler š§µ

It's obvious to point out attacks against Muslims get ignored - but still needs repeatedly calling out. An Antisemitic attack should be reported and action taken. But where is the same media outrage, cobra meetings and calling of national emergency when 5 Muslims are attacked?

SO much this. The whole āweāre being forced out of public life by constant online abuseā thing is *hugely* undermined by the fact that, when everyone is telling them to get off a website whose profit model is straightforwardly based on abuse, they repeatedly refuse to.

Basically, people think Starmer would make a good Foreign Secretary because he didnāt look hungover as fuck on overseas jollies like Boris Johnson always did. Literally because Starmer can do his tie properly and not breathe Johnnie Walker fumes on Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Not sure if I have this right, but as an outsider looking in, it seems that in Keir Starmer, England's richest and most misshapen op-ed writers basically got their custom designed policy portfolio and it's been an unmitigated disaster. Surely they are taking some time to meaningfully reflect on this
