It is so crucial to have a network of people who support you in your competitive journey. This community can be really brutal sometimes. Surround yourself with people who remind you that you are strong and deserve a chance. That is one of the best things you can do

I do wanna note too though, that this isn't the majority of the community. Not to downplay the importance of this discussion, it def needs to happen and we do still have work to do, but I see people commenting feeling discouraged or scared to enter the splat community.
