This is last month's news but Nintendo acquired a studio based in Singapore that worked on Splatoon 3 www.nintendo.co.jp/corporate/re... Since Splatoon became a big franchise for them I would guess they have been preparing to be able to work on those simultaneously with Animal Crossing

Today's update has a bigger reworking of SendouQ serverside logic. Main goals are to improve performance, maintainability of the code and fix the rare logic issues where e.g. you might end up in a group with 5 players or two matches at the same time. Let me know if any problems! #sendouink

Another thing for tomorrow was updating the mode pattern explanation. It's good when people report what confuses them so they can be improved. UI can be hard and sometimes needs a bit of work to make it something that is easy to understand even for new users. Absolutely crucial work.

Several changes tomorrow to make uploading VoDs more user friendly - YT preview embed that hovers on the left - Sync match timestamp to embed's current time w/ 1 click - Mode radio buttons (2 click -> 1) - Stage select w/ search & img - Wpn quick select (like SQ) - Copy above map's wpns #sendouink

In today's update LFG posts now have a "languages" field of their own. This is useful if you for example can speak English and don't mind doing it for SendouQ pick-ups but for your team's recruitment post you want to focus on specific language. #sendouink

Been thinking today what I want to do with sendou ink next and beyond excited for next year. I really think I'll be able to push it to something that hasn't been seen before in any game or scene. There are a lot of good pieces that now need to come together but I have a bunch of fresh ideas too.

Today's update giving some love to the map planner. 1) replaced the old "click -> weapon image goes to random spot -> drag where you want it". Now just drag it from the left sidebar where you want it 2) background img no longer cropped to your screen 3) now respects dark mode preference #sendouink

I know we will mourn together the likes of Lemuria SZ and Flounder RM being labeled as "Community's choice" but today's update provides fixes to the new SQ maplist algorithm. This hopefully means it now works a bit more as expected. #sendouink

In today's update SendouQ map list generation was revamped. Key changes: - can now prefer a mode and submit less than 7 maps or no maps at all - no more "default maps" if no maps for a mode available, most popular maps according to all users is used - every preference taken into account #sendouink

Small questions on preferences but currently clicking a user on SendouQ group forming page always opens a new tab (some other places do it too, but this is the most notable example). I want to change this so that links in-app always open in the same tab. #sendouink

In today's update: - standings (both on tournament page and user profile) for tournament with many starting brackets, notably CCA - more tournament maplist generation algorithm work (main problem I was trying to fix was repeated maps in single mode tournament) #sendouink

For SQ map list how important it is that it balances out the maps at map list stage. Like I could balance out so that both teams get equal amount of "votes" and then it might be that the end result favors one team over other. This just would be an easy fix for the "default maps" problem Thoughts?

Just putting this here to commit to making it a thing but I should really "SendouQify" tournament subs experience. So much potential in theory to get more teams playing by getting those subs grouped up.
