If theres 1 thing I want top players to do more is just talk about the fucking game, you don't need highly edited content most of mine at the start wasn't and I do unscripted no editing rambles on the 2nd channel all the time. Just talk about stuff and post it.

Unpopular opinion but I think so many specials in splatoon 3 just feel really unpolished regardless of their balance state Whether it be clunky animations or unnecessary endlag frames, Cooler missing UI on mini map still. Some of them are minor nitpicks but really add up overall with fluidity

Yet another reason why broadening to a more casual audience is VITAL to competitive community health. Most recent $1mil Capcom Cup champion was a retired Fortnite/Valo streamer. So many sponsored SF6 pro players that are variety streamers or retired competitive players from other genres.

Don't know the full context but Shaka is basically a big variety streamer hosts a lot "casual, yet serious" tournaments. These events usually bring together big variety streamers and vtubers. Not sure if Shaka organized THIS tournament, but seems to be participating. xcancel.com/room_vault/s...

Outside community: 1) Known metric when reaching the average Splatoon player. Instead of people wondering "wtf is a div?" 2) Untapped YT content on how to hit... X-rank, 1.6-2k XP, 2k-2.5k XP, 2.5k-3k XP, 3k+ XP. Great way to introduce/elaborate on concepts for viewers. These PERFORM on JP SF6 YT.

I look at this differently (though I agree with their points). The bigger issue is keeping casual players motivated to play the game. Their own desire to continue to play the game. Most comp splat content is focused on the SCENE rather than the GAME. It (accidentally) alienates a new audience.

I'm the LAST person willing to defend Nintendo on anything. That being said, I haven't seen any ACTUAL evidence to ban these players from the NA event. What do you expect TOs to do? I don't mean this as a 'gotcha', like truthfully what do you want to be done?

If you fail plus server voting, you should get an opportunity to challenge a player, who voted against you, to a 1v1. If you win, you take their spot in the server. Would make for incredible content and really capture the spectacle that the plus server represents.

Japanese FGC culture is amazing. Top players dedicate so much time and effort to foster future talent. Community tournaments pair comp players with vtubers to help them learn the game and compete. Street Fighter 6's popularity recently peaked THREE years after launch due to these great efforts.

Surprised by how much aggressive play seems to have been nerfed due to increased visibility from HP bars. I still think it is a very good change all around but didn't anticipate this much of an impact on game balance.

Late to the patch, still have to form thoughts but early impressions: - Love HP bars, big win for soloQ - Hitbox changes significant, need to adjust. SRS buff - Want to reverse engineer EXACTLY how Flow State works, paint support Flow farmer seems unlikely(?) without something like Crab/Reef/Booyah

The most important part to decipher/test with this patch: Can a support spamming paint achieve Flow State with a single splat? How frequent will Flow State be achieved? Can the entire team reliably get it during a fight? Will stealing a teammate's splat potentially be problematic?

I wonder how consistent the weapon hitbox buff (on human form) will be for short range shooters. Could be a huge buff for Jr or (unlikely) chance things like Sploosh or Aero could see some experimentation. Flow state conditions are still vaguely worded, but I think it could be huge for supports.

A lot to digest with 11.0 patch but my initial impressions are positive. Flow state is a HUGE win for casual players and the spectator experience. Even if we look back negatively on flow state (I don't think we will), I'm glad they made a bold change. Hitbox changes greatly appreciated.
