The most important part to decipher/test with this patch: Can a support spamming paint achieve Flow State with a single splat? How frequent will Flow State be achieved? Can the entire team reliably get it during a fight? Will stealing a teammate's splat potentially be problematic?

I wonder how consistent the weapon hitbox buff (on human form) will be for short range shooters. Could be a huge buff for Jr or (unlikely) chance things like Sploosh or Aero could see some experimentation. Flow state conditions are still vaguely worded, but I think it could be huge for supports.

A lot to digest with 11.0 patch but my initial impressions are positive. Flow state is a HUGE win for casual players and the spectator experience. Even if we look back negatively on flow state (I don't think we will), I'm glad they made a bold change. Hitbox changes greatly appreciated.

I think one of the most underrated parts of improving in Splatoon is just having confidence and committing to a decision Even if it’s the "wrong" play or wrong angle your on or something if you hesitate in this game it makes you look worse than you actually are because the game is too fast for that

People are always trying to create resources to meet a need 100% instead of using resources that are 80% of the way there. So those new things are haphazard, and only get 85% of the job done, so there's a lot of excitement, for like 2 weeks. Use the resources we have. Stop decentralizing.

When asking "How can I give back to the community?", ALWAYS prioritize your own interests and curiosities. Putting energy into ideas you feel passionate/excited about will go a longer way than plugging holes where the community "needs" it. I care about YOU, never the content.

It is interesting to discover the same habits and patterns that I have in Splatoon carry over with me when analyzing my Street Fighter gameplay. You really gotta change the person to change the gameplay 😅

The sense of scaling in a 5 minute match of City Trials is actually unreal. It is the same progression as a MOBA or roguelite, but cozy and multiplayer. I don't even like kart combat games, but Sakurai is a magician. I was reluctant to spend $70 on Kirby Air Riders but this game is perfection.

I reject the notion that "practicing down" is a waste of time. For example, when you practice around the same level or better, teams usually focusing on winning. Playing against weaker teams allows you to focus on how to KO and how to setup for big pushes. Or experiment with new ideas/gameplans.

The more I play the Kirby Air Ride beta, the more confused I get. - Is there no way to race online? - The City Trial mode is 5 minutes of gathering stats to play 1 minute of a random mini game? Game seems really cool and I'm having a good time, I just don't know what is happening LOL
