I think we need to discuss why this is discourse now and acknowledge the fact that two people chose to practice, play, and compete with them. Top players have also been accepting them into scrims for months. They've been in the community for a while. What has changed?

I’m glad everyone’s been getting giddy about how riptide was, and I don’t want to take that away, but it shouldn’t be mutual exclusive to also discus this at the same time. Splatoon has a serious problem when it comes to players taking accountability and this needs to change! #compsplatoon
