Hi @jimmcmahon.co.uk, the Cornish are a recognised national minority. It would not be democratic for a Mayor mostly elected by Devon and supported by mostly Devon-based members to make policy related to Cornish language, heritage, culture and economic rights. We have a right to our own devolution.
