This is a deeply troubling development in an already terrible case. The building collapse could have easily killed those inside and waiting passengers as it crashed into the bus stop below, minutes earlier and it would have been a very different outcome.

This week we saw another life lost on Royton’s roads this week and a family devastated. My thoughts are with them. 8 people were killed in Oldham in 2024, the highest in a decade. 6 were pedestrians, including children. Over the past 10 years: 45 lives lost, 737 seriously injured. (1/2)
